We have arrived at Warren Caravanpark in Belford, not far from the Bamburgh Castle and Holy Island (www.meadowhead.co.uk)  Unfortunately the weather isn't on our side, so we went out to see Bamburgh Castle and Holy Island all on 1 day. Please see below:

Please get me out of here!!!!  Sooo scary--- you can't believe what you have to put up with to make a good blog????

I am such a good dog, I sat patiently waiting to go back to the caravan. As reward I was allowed to taste some of the amazing beer, I know it was just the foam, but it still tasted amazing. This isn't on my diet, but occasionally you are allowed to break the rules just a little bit

the view from the campsite, it's looking like a very nice beach, hopefully the rain will stop and I can explore it

amazing dog walk- of course of lead- how I like it------------ 1 side of the campsite is for caravan's and motorhomes/campervans and the other side is for tents -catering of everything

First trip out is to Bamburgh Castle- very impressive castle- I can go walk around the grounds, but I am not allowed inside

What do you think about this??? I am ok with this, as I am a dog and I ok with smelling poo!!!

But for humans, it must have been very smelly, I am sure they are happy now that they don't have to put up with this any longer

Just getting ready to listen and pose for my next photo-   do you like it

after exploring I was ready for some dog ice-cream. Can you believe they didn't have any--- so I just had to beg and of course I won- it was delicious

Off on our 2nd trip today- it's to Holy Island, you have to wait for the tide to go out, as the access is via a causeway- you need to check the website to make sure you don't get in trouble. You can drive, bike or walk to it.

Did you watch the Vera Episode of the murder on Holy Island? If not this is the book

this is the causeway you need to drive across to the Holy Island, how impressive is this

Just couldn't resist posing again ( love this bench, part of her holiday home

these sheeps are very nosy. Does this reminds you of someone else you must know by now? Of course it is me .They were  watching the visitors arriving on the island

The bird is part of the "English Heritage Site which is the castle, unfortunately due to the mist it's not very clear. I am sure it's worth a visit, was closed when we arrived in the evening

This is a National Trust Place, it's the monastery  which has given the island the name

Another chance to play with my ball,  and of course a quick pose to show everyone how cute I am .
