We are on our way to our next stop, which is The Woods Caravan Park in Fishcross Alloa, near Stirling. The link to their website is (thewoodscaravanpark.co.uk) This is also an affiliated campsite of the Caravan and Motorhome Club. This campsite got amazing views of the hills, is offering various options of pitches. Also there is the option to rent or to buy a lodge. By the entrance is a restaurant, very popular.

As the weather is still good, we decided to go and see the waterfall at Alva Glen and we spotted this castle on our way, which is a restaurant, I wouldn't be surprised if this would be available for weddings too.
On our way walking up to the waterfall, couldn't resist to sit down on this amazing bench.
As we got another day at the campsite and the weather is still not too bad, we are off the see the Falkirk Wheel www.scottishcanals.co.uk and the Kelpies www.thehelix.co.uk

Still some time left and we decided to check out the Sterling Castle on our way back to the campsite. We didn't go inside, as tickets need to be pre-booked. Can always visit the castle again another time
Last trip out before moving onto our next stop. We are going to see the Wallace Monument. The link is www.nationalwallacemonument.com If you ever watched "Braveheart" then you will know who that is. Unfortunately you can't take dogs inside, but there is enough space outside to get some exercise.
