We have arrived at Sandhaven Holiday Park in South Shields (Sandhaven - Northumbrian Leisure) All set up now and ready to have some new adventures
This is one of the pub/ restaurant at the beach front, it's built using some train carriages, very clever idea
The seaside is just behind the campsite, accessible by foot within 10 minutes walk. The Pleasure Beach is not accessible for dogs here between May and September, but further down there is a dog beach. Will explore it tomorrow.
Who needs a red carpet to walk on if you got this lovely painted path.
The pub called "The Rattler" and it is dog friendly. I was so good sitting under the table, that I was allowed to taste some of the pulled pork------amazing taste,
So good- just had to keep licking my lips- I know this isn't food for dogs, but I just had to taste it and I loved it
Off on the bike again, having a look at Souter Lighthouse, only 3 miles away, amazing bike rides and coastal walks near by. The bike path is accessible straight away outside the campsite.
I am ready to go out again- love going out on the bike We have arrived- how impressive is this
I love checking on everyone around me, you never know what you could miss out on
Look at that view, all along the coastal walk
Any chance I get, I run around burning off some energy. When I had enough I just sit back in my basket
What an amazing beach, all discovered on our bike ride back to the campsite
I heard that the grotto is haunted- how scary is that for a dog like me? Also before the rock was reduced by the sea, there was a gateway for the pirates to land in South Shields- so much history here to find out. What the pirates have taken me, as I am such a cutie???
Another opportunity to get out of my basket and run after my favourite ball
I am done in, after a 10 mile bike ride and all the running around.
Last day on this campsite before moving on to see Holy Island. I am on dog guard duty
Saw this large fish at the beach, what a good idea to collect plastic for recycling- glad that this isn't alive- I would have been so scared to get so close to it
out on the last bike ride in South Shields, so much to see and to keep an eye on-- the views are amazing
Look at these strange thinks we came across- wasn't scared as they didn't move This large Tortoise is outside the Little Haven Hotel, with another beach
Last time to run around on the beach, you just can't resist such a nice place and all the sand. Only good that I got some water with me as I seemed to eat a lot of sand.
