We are at Lidalia Caravan Park in Newcastleton new the Scottish Border , lidalia.co.uk This is a quiet campsite with 35 hard standing pitches, well looked after. It's an affiliated Campsite of the Caravan and Motorhome Club. Newcastleton is a small town, just 5 minute walk from the campsite. It got 2 hotels with restaurants, 2 shops, 1 pub, a petrol station, a golf course and a medical centre. All in walking distance. No need to take the car out if you don't want to, lots of walking areas in forest or along the beautiful river.

One of the dog walks off side, just turn right by the gate, this will take you straight into the forest
The "Trap" is the pub on the picture below.
Second dog walk off the side, just at the end of the campsite is a gate to lead you to this walk
This walk is just 5 minutes away from the campsite. Just cross over the main street and head straight ahead and their is river , which is at the back of the town . Also there is access to an activity centre and a golf course
