On our way to our next stop, which is the Old Hartley Club Campsite at Whitley Bay, Tyne and Wear. It's a smaller campsite which offers an amazing view off the sea and St. Mary Lighthouse and Nature Reserve. Can't wait to get there
Oh no we forgot that the Great Northern Run is happening today. 60,000 people attended this one, check out the traffic too
After a 50 minutes delay at the Tyne Tunnel, we have finally arrived at the campsite. Wow--- what a view!!!!
Coastal walk and the pub only 5 minutes walk away from the campsite
The weather is much better today, so we decided to go out on a bike ride. There is an amazing coastal bike path just 1 minute away from the campsite. It will take you to the St Mary Lighthouse, which is accessible via a causeway or you can just carry along the path to get access to a very large sandy beach. All accessible for dogs too.
Good morning all, soooooo......... ready to go
The sun came out today, just leaving us with a strong wind. We decided to go out for a short trip. We went to see Northumberlandia, approx 9 miles from the campsite , the link to the website is www.northumberlandia.com
